missmccrimmon:

So I decided I needed comfy shoes to teach in. But all the comfy teacher shoes are either flats, which I can’t wear, or boring pumps. So I decided to geekify them! These are my teacher shoes. Doctor Who comic shoes! I’m hopefully even getting Josh Adams (who drew the issue) and Wil Wheaton (who is a huge DW fan and approved my first comic shoes) to sign them at Emerald City Comic Con! So stoked!!

Whaaat?!? Awesome! You should have caught me at ECCC! Those look amazing!

My awesome ECCC13 swag. It was a long road trip (didn’t get home until after 9am today, so tired…..)

thECCC13 was amazing, as always. Great guests this year too, including Josh Adams(Doctor WHO comics, drew the black and white sherlock picture), the most awesome of all Hufflepuffs- Natalia Tena, Felicia Day (it’s her signature defacing the Winchesters on the season 7 book), Walter Koenig, and one of the Internets most lovable trolls - Misha Collins.

(no, Arthur Darvill was not there, but there was a table selling Doctor WHO autographs, and i seriously doubted i would ever get to meet him for myself, so used my carrie fisher money to purchase one, since she was unable to make it)

I, regrettably  cannot remember the artist who did the colour prints, but the wonderful cat magnets where by Jenny Parks

the few con pictures i remembered to take will come shortly.

Here is the inked version of the Tank Girl sketch. If I ever get the time I might throw some dot-shading on it digitally to get that authentic Tank Girl vibe but for now this is the finished original art. Enjoy.

Tank Girl work in progress. This started as a quick sketch and before I knew it was turning into a full composition which I will have to save for another day to finish.

Another morning warm-up. Earthworm Jim has been one of my long time favorite characters and as a kid would draw him all the time. Doug TenNapel has a great design sense and such unique ideas. Very fun to draw. Original available 8.5x11 for $70.

I did storyboards on this spot for ECW on Syfy a few years back.
